The online platform that offers in-home healthcare services 24/7 supports the #Natalepertutti initiative by donating €5 for every reservation made on their website and flu vaccines – in collaboration with FirstMed and John Cabot University (JCU) – to the Community of Sant’Egidio
This Christmas, MedinAction is joining the fight against the flu virus. In solidarity with and support of the Community of Sant’Egidio, they would like to help prevent the spread of the seasonal flu as a part of the #Natalepertutti (Christmasforall) initiative.
Thanks to this occasion and the commitment of Sant’Egidio, people without homes, the poor, migrants and refugees, families in difficulty, and senior citizens who live alone can share the joy of Christmas – all with respect to the social distancing norms and the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Resistant to the challenges posed by the pandemic, the initiative last year alone reached tens of thousands of people in Italy and almost a quarter million people in the world. #Natalepertutti adds seats to the table where it can and, in every way, meals at mobile distribution centers.
MedinAction, the online platform that offers in-home healthcare services 24/7, will support the initiative by donating €5 to the Community of Sant’Egidio for every reservation booked on their website until January 6th, 2022.
The platform offers a doctors on demand service with general medicine and specialist visits, nursing care, and lab analyses. MedinAction currently operates in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Turin, Venice, Naples and Florence.
MedinAction’s commitment to social outreach is augmented by the donation – in collaboration with FirstMed and John Cabot University – of influenza vaccines to the Community of Sant’Egidio.
On its part, the Sant’Egidio Community also carries forward its commitment to preventing the spread of Covid-19. The Community assists foreigners who are not part of the Italian national health system by offering the opportunity to get the Covid-19 vaccine with just a tax code.
