About Peter Scognamillo

Hi! I’m Peter Scognamillo, and I am a student at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am studying abroad in Rome for the semester and am thrilled to be completing my internship with Medinaction through SAI Programs during this time. I chose to pursue psychology because I see mental health as a central component of the self and well-being that is often neglected and forgotten by many healthcare professionals. Outside of my major and this internship, I enjoy cooking, creative writing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. So far, my time in Rome has afforded me with many opportunities to do these and other things that I love, so I’m very grateful for this experience!
